We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team in a psychiatric hospital setting. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care and support to individuals receiving behavioral health and psychiatric treatment while maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Obtain and document vital signs, patient observations, and behavioral changes
• Provide one-to-one observation and patient monitoring as assigned
• Support patients during meals, recreational activities, and therapeutic programs
• Assist nursing staff with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment
• Report significant changes in patient condition, mood, or behavior to the nursing team
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts as directed
• Encourage patient engagement in treatment plans and daily activities
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies

Requirements

• Current CNA Certification in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing
• Valid Driver's License
• Current CPR Certification
• Current Immunization Records
• Current Health Physical Examination
• Minimum of One (1) Year Facility Experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges
