The Home Care CNA/MT Floater provides flexible, on-demand support to home care clients across multiple locations. This role requires an active CNA and Medication Technician (MT) certification and the ability to travel between client homes. The floater is responsible for covering open shifts, call-outs, and short-notice assignments while delivering consistent, high-quality personal care and medication support in accordance with individualized care plans. This position is ideal for dependable, experienced professionals who are adaptable, self-directed, and comfortable working in a variety of home environments..
Responsibilities
-Provide high-quality personal care in clients’ homes in accordance with care plans
-Administer medications in accordance with MT scope and company policy (where applicable)
-Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, transfers, and hygiene
-Observe, document, and report changes in client condition
-Maintain professionalism, reliability, and consistency across all assignments
-Cover open shifts, call-outs, and short-notice assignments as scheduled
Required Qualifications
-Active CNA certification and Medication Technician (MT) certification
-Minimum of 2 years of CNA experience (home care experience preferred)
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required – assignments vary by location)
-Ability to travel between multiple client locations
-Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
-Ability to pass background check and all pre-employment screening requirements
